Assoc. Prof. Mehtap Eroglu is a graduate of Ankara University Child and Adolescent Mental Health with over 15 years of clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health.

What happens at the first appointment?
During the first session, your child's developmental history, complaints, and expectations are evaluated in detail. After this session, which usually lasts 50-60 minutes, you will be informed about the assessment and treatment plan.
When should I take my child to a psychiatrist?
An expert evaluation would be beneficial when you notice emotional or behavioral changes affecting your child's daily life, school performance, or social relationships.
Will medication be used during treatment?
Medication is not always necessary. First, a comprehensive evaluation is conducted, and psychotherapy and behavioral interventions are considered. When medication is deemed necessary, the decision is made together with families.
Is an online session possible?
Yes, online session options are available for suitable cases. Face-to-face sessions are recommended for initial evaluations.
What age groups do you serve?
We provide infant, child, and adolescent psychiatry services for all age groups from birth to 18 years.
